Administration and Facilities

The IPC possesses its own Charter. It is governed by the University through a Board which acts as an advisory body to the University President regarding the formulation of policies of the Institute. Its home offices are located at the University’s Loyola Heights campus. At any one time, the IPC is likely to house some 15-20 staff members.

The IPC has a collection of its publications of empirical social science research on the Philippines and has a unique and extensive vertical file collection of reprints and manuscripts on the subject, in addition to the final reports of IPC projects. Interested individuals can purchase copies of these publications at the IPC home office (for a list, please see “Publications” section).

The holdings of the IPC Resource Center are available at the Rizal Library of the Ateneo de Manila University, where they are part of the bigger university collection. Its definitive inventory of publications and related materials on Community-Based Natural Resource Management, particularly in the forestry and irrigation sectors, are available at the library of the Institute of Social Order, Ateneo de Manila University, while  its  People-Managed  Health (PMH) collection is accessible at the library of PCHRD, Department of Science and Technology.

The IPC has a Conference Room which can accommodate 30-40 people and a Meeting Room for 10-12 people.
