As part of a larger project focused on developing a conceptual and action framework for promoting children's environmental rights at the local and municipal level, Save the Children Sweden sought the collection of targeted case studies which would help expand understanding of the processes and practices at the local government level by which children's priorities are constructively addressed; and derive some lessons on how best this inclusion of children's interests on the part of local government can be promoted and supported. To this end, a case study of an initiative in Payatas, the Philippines, was undertaken.
