About the Event

In this forum, IPC’s eHealth project teams will share their findings and experiences in maneuvering various aspects of eHealth and eLearning in the Philippines and beyond.

The Philippine COMPETEN SEA team will present its initial findings on massive open online course (MOOC) use in Pangasinan, and health workers from the Provincial Health Office will share the challenges and insights they gained with MOOCs.

The eTURO project team will then present how the IPC utilizes webinars to reach more people with eLearning. The team will also launch its latest webinar series, targeted towards health workers who work outside Manila and are interested in their professional development. Aside from the webinar series, another eHealth team, HATID ASEAN, will also launch its own pilot course on eHealth policies in the Southeast Asian region, targeted towards development and health sciences students in AdMU.

The project team of IPC’s first eHealth project, eHATID, will also announce its laptop deployment to rural health offices. All laptops to be deployed will include a SCORM package with modules on health governance, taking the courses offline and bringing the courses directly to the rural areas.
