IPC Director Dr. Czarina Saloma-Akpedonu and Mr. Jon Michael Villasenor, project directors of Project 302, were invited by the House of Representatives to present findings of the World Bank-funded study on the First Wave Qualitative Impact Evaluation of the Conditional Cash Transfer. They appeared in Congress last February 21, 2011 in front of some 100 congressmen who were members of the Committee on Poverty Alleviation. The presentation was made to provide the Committee members with empirical basis for making policy decisions related to the institutionalization of the Conditional Cash Transfer Program of the government.
