Women in Development: A Three-Region Survey

The survey was aimed at testing on a larger sample some of the more feasible indicators and areas for measuring women’s role, as suggested by the findings of earlier pilot and special studiers on women (Project 150). It pursued further analyses on factors contributing to the maintenance and change in women’s traditional stauts and the effects of changing women’s traditional status on family welfare.
