Women’s Work and Family Strategies in the Philippines, Phase I

The study sought to unravel the ways by which families utilized female labor particularly in times of economic disorder or disequilibria. It also examined the roles government development programs played in the overall family strategy of containing the negative impact of the country's economic problems.
