Urban Poverty from the Perspectives of the Urban Poor: A Three-Country Study

This project was part of a three-country study -- Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam -- which examined the views and experiences of poverty articulated by urban poor. It was a response to the common observation that while poverty in major cities had become the concern of many groups in development and policy positions, the urban poor themselves had little opportunity to voice their own views of how they experienced poverty and its impact on their lives and their future.
