Research on Child and Youth Participation in the Philippines

This research examined if and in what ways the right of children and young people to participate in issues concerning and directly affecting them is realized in the Philippine setting. The project entailed the following activities:

  • inventory and profiling of existing child- and youth-focused programs and projects of various organizations (national and international agencies/foundations/organizations, nongovernment organizations, umbrella organizations, or coalitions involved and dealing with children and youth); and
  • case studies of programs and initiatives highlighting useful practices.
