Mark Francis Francisco

Mark Francis Francisco obtained his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Social Studies from the Ateneo de Zamboanga University in 2011. He worked as a college instructor at the same university. Currently taking up an MS in Social Development at the Ateneo de Manila University under IPC-DSA Scholarship Program, his research interests include Social Anthropology, Socio- Cultural Change, Indigenous Peoples and Bangsamoro Education, Social Policy, and Poverty and Well-being. At present, Mark is doing research on identity formation and education of the Subanons, as well as on the changing socio-cultural traditions of the Badjaos in Zamboanga City.
