Documentation, Policy Research, and Training Assistance for Watershed Management and Community Forestry

This study explored the overall status of watersheds and reviewed the content, limitations, adn effects of existing policies on them. It also scanned the competing demands for watershed resources, zeroing in on the rising demand for groundwater. It further delved into the problem of groundwater depletion, the related conflicts over land and water use, and the implicit valuation of groundwater resources.
