Becoming and Being a Streetchild: Survival, Strategies, Contexts, and Interventions

This study was part of a Philippine case study on children in especially difficult circumstances. Conducted in Cebu City, the study examined the forces which put children and their families at risk, and the processes and structures which compelled children to spend more time looking for a living rather than staying at home or in school.
